Marty Wanielista, PhD., P.E., DEE, DWR CEO Bringing forty years of experience to our venture, Marty is currently the Director of the Stormwater Management Academy at the University of Central Florida. His expertise lies in the areas of solving pollution and flooding problems, promoting sustainable green communities, and state-of the-art environmental protection for future generations. Marty is the former Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Central Florida.
Mike Hardin, MSEnv.E., E.I. Vice President, Operations Mike brings two years of experience to our company providing creative, environmentally sound engineering solutions to stormwater management issues. Mike’s areas of expertise include greenroof design for stormwater volume and pollution control, growing media selection for pollution removal, greenroof maintenance and repair methods, stormwater and gray water reuse, pervious pavement selection and design.
Betty Wanielista Vice President Business Administration With over 30 years of office systems technology experience in the training of students in the newest technologies, Betty is program director of the Office & Medical Administration Program at Valencia Community College. She oversees the daily operations of the STE offices.
Amanda Martin Horticulturalist/Maintenance Amanda earned her B.S. in horticulture from UF. She is new to our team and has been consulting on native plant selection, placement and maintenance of plant material on green roofs.
Erik Stuart, BSCE, E.I. Vice President Construction Erik has invented the embedded ring infiltrometer kit that is used for certification of previous pavements. He has extensive experience with the design, installation and monitoring of pervious pavements. Also, he has completed stormwater management construction.
